We offer day tours from Quito. Among the day tours we offer are:

Visit to Otavalo, Ibarra and Cotacachi area: Here you will observe the beautiful landscape of the Andes. We will visit the famous Otavalo handicraft market as well as the leather manufacture town of Cotacachi. Finally we will visit the town of Ibarra to enjoy a typical ice cream (helado de paila) and/or visit the village of Peguche to learn about the manufacture of typical wind instruments. Return to Quito. (approx. time of tour 8 – 10 hours).

Visit to Saquisilí, Latacunga area: During this journey we will cross the area of the highest active volcano in the world (Cotopaxi). Here we will have the great opportunity to visit a rose farm plantation. We will learn about the entire process of cultivating a rose, until it arrives to the stores in the US, Canada, or Europe. In the afternoon we will visit a typical “hacienda” of the Andes (farm) and finally enjoy a delicious typical meal at a fine restaurant. (approx. time of tour 8 – 10 hours).

Visit to Papallacta area: The sight during the trip to this area (east of Quito) is simply marvelous. This area is famous due to the thermal baths (which of course we will try). We will enjoy a delicious lunch and in the afternoon we will come back to Quito (if lucky we will admire the impressive Antisana volcano located in this area. (approx. time of tour 6 – 8 hours).
